Winters in Lake Tahoe-
In the Lake Tahoe area, there are 7 world class ski resorts from 5 minutes to 1 hour away. We enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year, giving the Sierra Nevada Mountains some of the best skiing conditions in the world. At lake level, annual snowfall averages 125 inches. At alpine skiing elevations, the snowfall averages 300 to 500 inches each year. Here in Lake Tahoe there is winter enjoyment for everyone:

  Along with 6 other family members, my husband and I spent 4 nights up at the lake in this wonderful house on the perfect Tahoe property. It was a phenomenal location. Two kayaks and one paddle board were there and got a lot of use. My only suggestion would be to have bedside tables with reading lamps in the main bedrooms.We are a group of readers. The grill needs to be thoroughly cleaned as well.

  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with family. Some regular maintenance would improve experience. Trash has been broken for three years. Since this is lakefront property, would like to some improvement to beach area—trimming of shrubs, working umbrella, railroad tie repairs. Very clean home and plenty of room. Tom, rental agent, very responsive to inquiries and requests.

  The location of the house was tremendous. A definite 10!
  
  The house itself was generally awesome. Great floor plan, absolutely beautiful, and fantastic amount of space.
  
  The only negative things we have to say about the house is that the WiFi and AV systems were not up to date. There was only one 802.11n WAP in the middle of the house and WiFi performance was terrible in the family room and bedrooms because they are too far away from the WAP. The TVs had only HDMI connections and are too old to have network connections so you can't use AirPlay or cast to them from your mobile phone, tablet or PC. Bring an Apple TV or Chromecast device or something like that although you may still have WiFi problems with those.
