Come and make great memories in this amazing lake view mountain getaway. With room for up to 14 guests till May 2022.Any bookings with stay dates after May 1st 2022 will be 10 guests max. This spacious, 3,800 square foot residence exudes Tahoe charm with a massive great room that boasts an inviting stacked stone fireplace, a 70 inch TV and large windows to capture the serene views of tall pines whispering in the wind and a beautiful backdrop of the Lake. There’s also two different levels for entertaining to give your group some relaxing space. The main floor offers a large private hot tub and massive deck with a large bbq, dining table for 6, sofa seating for 7 with a fire pit for entertaining while enjoying the great outdoors of Tahoe. The other entertainment room features a new 12 foot Shuffleboard table that everyone will love. The home has two kitchens for convenience when cooking for those large gatherings and for those who love their Java, there's a premium espresso/coffee maker in the main kitchen! Conveniently located in the desirable Zephyr Heights neighborhood, this property is ideally situated within minutes to the summertime activities of Zephyr Cove Resort or the winter fun at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Combined with fabulous dining, casino gaming, shopping and entertainment, your Lake Tahoe vacation will be one to remember!

Summers in Lake Tahoe-
For many years, families have been enjoying their summers here in Lake Tahoe. Our temperatures are among the best in the country. Winters in Lake Tahoe-
In the Lake Tahoe area, there are 7 world class ski resorts from 5 minutes to 1 hour away. We enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year, giving the Sierra Nevada Mountains some of the best skiing conditions in the world. At lake level, annual snowfall averages 125 inches. At alpine skiing elevations, the snowfall averages 300 to 500 inches each year. Here in Lake Tahoe there is winter enjoyment for everyone:

The neighborhood is quiet and close to grocery stores and bars. The huge porch was our favorite part; grilling and hanging out on the patio with an incredible view; what else could you ask for!?   There were only two couples that stayed in this house so it was really spacious. It was clean and plenty of space for a larger group. There were a few things I wanted to mention so that the home owner would know and could hopefully improve and some are for safety reason. The master bedroom has a large rug in the room and the corners are curled and create a tripping hazard when entering the room. In the master bathroom the toilet is loose and although it doesn’t leak it sounded as though it wasn’t connected to the floor when sitting down. We could not get either ice maker to work. We could night find an iron anywhere in the house. The outside chairs for the dinner table were not enough. Only 4 for an 8 seater table. Lastly I don’t think the house had WiFi, I could find it and just assumed all homes of that size and expense offer WiFi. The only other thing was that there was no air conditioning and that was my fault for not checking it just happened to be a hot summer week when we stayed. Thank you

  We visited the weekend before Christmas, and were a mixed group of family and friends. The property was the perfect size-- just enough space for all of us, including my 5 year old niece, 3 couples, and 2 single people. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, and there was enough room to prepare food (the 2 kitchens were stocked pretty nicely!) and there was room for us to play board games, hang out, eat together, and socialize without feeling cramped. You definitely need 4WD to get up to the property in the winter-- but that's to be expected. Tami was absolutely great in helping with our group-she sent pizza recommendations and restaurants as well as grocery ordering and other helpful attractions prior to our stay-- she even let us into the property a little early, which was great because my 5 year old niece was a little car sick at that point and needed to take a nap. It is a little dated, the master bath has no real door, but that was fine with our group, the house was clean and spacious-- and close enough to everything we needed.

  Amazing stay in this home! We had 13 girls that fit comfortably in the house and could not have been more pleased with the layout. Our favorite part was lounging out on the big deck on the cozy patio furniture! The neighborhood is also safe and so lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer it was a 10/10!

  We had such an enjoyable time at the Zephyr. The property was easy to locate and had excellent views. It was the perfect size for the 13 of us (although please note that sound carries very easily throughout the house, so with young children, this made sleeping slightly more difficult). The property management company was very responsive and helpful. We did wish that the kitchen came better stocked - the knives were few and far between and extremely dull, there was no cutting board, and the ice machine was broken. We prepared most meals at the rental, so this was somewhat of an obstacle. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend the property to others!

  We had the best time at this rental!! It was clean and user friendly. There were multiple areas to sit and hang out and the hot tub is awesome! The view is unbelievable, we loved sitting on the porch. Only a 8 minute drive to Heavenly. Ubers were easy to get as well. Lots of grocery stores near by. Sierra rental was helpful and really easy to work with throughout our stay. Also, you can fit more than 4 cars on the drive if they are compact enough, we fit about 6-7.

  This home is a perfect property for a family get together. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and for us to come together to hang out, eat meals, watch movies, and play games. The hot tub was a great way to relax in between our excursions to the endless activities available in the area. The property could use a few updates, but it was quite suitable for us, and every member of our family enjoyed our stay. The property was in a perfect location with so many things to do in the nearby vicinity and had an amazing view of the lake from the deck.

  We had such a great time staying at The Zephyr! We could not have asked for a better place to host our team event. The Zephyr has all the amenities you could need and plenty of space for sleeping and activiteis.
  Would definitely recommend staying here with a group. The kitchen is fully equipped, as is the bbq deck area.
  The only drawback would be the master suite bathroom has no door on it. We were sharing the room with colleagues so it made for quite an 'intimate' experience - but otherwise no complaints at all!
